It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gladys M. Wegener of Fenton, Iowa, who passed away on June 10, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Mueller and Selma Mueller (Wolters); her husband Marlin Wegener; her son David Wegener; her great grandchild Cooper Noah Ulfers; and her siblings, Larry Mueller, Luella Meyer and Grace Hartley.
She is survived by: her children, Deb Ulfers (Dan) of Fenton, Brian Wegener (Lisa) of Panora, Brenda Davis (Len) of Algona, Todd Wegener (Mary Kay) of Fenton and Verla Wegener (Jerry Sterba) of Newton; her grandchildren, Carmen Spenner (Brian), Andy Wegener (Meredith), Brad Ulfers (Tina), Kelly McGregor (Mark), Jeff Ulfers (Andie), Sean Wegener (Tami), Shannon Friedrich (Alex), Brittany Prilipp (Adam), Josh Davis (Brittney), Lee Wegener, Mallary Sorenson (Justin) and Cole Wegener; and her brother Harlan (Lucia Mueller). She is also survived by 24 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. John's Lutheran Church (205 2nd St, Fenton, IA 50539). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Friends of the Library in Fenton.
