With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of LaVerne Russell Lee of Fertile, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 1, 2025 at the age of 85. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bert B. Lee and Arlene Lee (McAuley); his siblings, Raymond Lee, Ronald Lee and Janice Asche; and his siblings-in-law, Linda Lee and James Vierkant.
He is survived by: his wife Susanna Lee; his daughters, Theresa Thomas (Dan), Marilyn Inman (Jeff), Michelle De La (Tom), Barbara Lenning (Matt) and Arlene Enderton (Darin); his grandchildren, Katie, Rachel, Angela, Ashley, Elizabeth, Natalee, Caleb, Gabe and Merritt; his great grandchildren, Zoey, Hunter, Kennedy and Blake; his siblings, Donna Olson (Dennis), Gail Shopshire (Larry), Darwin Lee (Marti), Connie Suby (Craig) and Dennis Lee (Mary); and his siblings-in-law, Dwaine Asche and Connie Vierkant. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
