He is survived by: his wife Sharon Emry of Floris, IA; his children, Jim Benson (Patti) and Heidi Kildow (Kenny); his grandchildren, Alexandria Carr (John), Hannah VanDerHart (Travis), Morgan Hofer (Preston), Caleb Kildow (Michelle), Meghan Benjamin and Mattie Kildow; his great grandchildren, Eli, Hope, Davey, Rylan, Jeb, Levi, Conrad, Hawkins, Delta, Joelle, Finley, Ellie, Isabelle, Ada Jae, Blaine, Brynley and Blakely; his sister Linda Booth; his grandson Justin Shepard; and his pet Lucy.
