Roger Brooks Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Roger Brooks of Floris, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 1, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Amos Anson and Elsie Ann Thomas Brooks; his wife Margaret Pyle; his daughters, Sharon Blakley and Cindy Haifley; his granddaughter Jennifer Lapara; and his son-in-law Dennis Porter.
He is survived by: his daughters, Beverly Grinstead (Rick) of Floris, Debbie Housholder (Mike) of Fairfield and Robin Porter of Floris. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial has been established to Reed-Whisler Post #78 of the American Legion.
