We are sad to announce that on May 12, 2020, at the age of 91, Alvina Molitor (Floyd, Iowa) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Alvina Molitor to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Henry Odens and Lizzie Odens (Getting); her husband Ernie; her son James; and her grandson Canyon Molitor.

She is survived by : her children, Gary of Floyd, Glenn (Charlene Droste) of Mason City, Mark (Lydia Pacheco) of St. Augustine, Mary Ann of Sioux Falls and Steven of Jacksonville, Florida; and her daughters-in-law, Brenda Molitor (Martin) of Mason City and Tami Molitor (Otto) of Charles City. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Due to state and federal guidance on gatherings due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a private family funeral service will be held at Hauser Weishaar Funeral Home in Charles City with Sister Diana Blong from Immaculate Conception Catholic Church officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Hospice.

“So so sorry to hear about the death of Alvina. I got to know and enjoy Alvina by bringing her Communion twice a month. Unfortunately I was not able to see her for the past two months. She was always very glad to see me and grateful for the opportunity to pray with me and receive her Lord, Jesus. Alvina also loved to talk about her beautiful family and her love for them. I must say, she was quite a character and always made me smile. May she Rest In Peace, ni will miss you, Alvina,”
