We announce the death of Viola Katherine Schroeder in Floyd, Iowa, who passed away on June 30, 2026, at the age of 92. Viola will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Strobel and Magdalena Strobel (Ziegler); her husband Robert Schroeder; her parents-in-law, Clarence and Loretta Schroeder; her brothers, Arnold Strobel and Calvin Strobel; and her in-laws, Barb Strobel, Eugene Schroeder and Mary Montgomery (Herbert).

She is survived by: her children, Michael Schroeder (Nancy) of Granger, IA and Terri Schroeder of Le Mars, IA; her granddaughters, Kristen Miner (Matt) of Granger, IA and Keni Tiernan (Tom) of Granger, IA; her great grandchildren, Brantley Miner, Naomi Miner, Norah Miner, Cal Miner, Aubree Tiernan, Quinn Tiernan and Kase Tiernan; her brothers, Alvin Strobel of Burlington, CO, Art Strobel (Connie) of Bethune, CO and Butch Strobel (Sandee) of Greeley, CO; and her in-laws, Beverly Strobel of Windsor, CO and Carine Schroeder of Doon, IA. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
