Gary Dean Gerdes Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 27, 2024, at the age of 74, Gary Dean Gerdes of Forest City, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Gerdes and Velma Gerdes. He is survived by: his wife Ann Tweeten of Forest City; his daughter Jodie Steen of Swea City; his grandchildren, Nicole Templeton (Alex) of Fertile and Cobe Brones of Swea City; his great grandchild Walker Templeton; and his brothers, Tim Gerdes (Lori), Dale Gerdes (Kristin), Steve Gerdes and Bruce Gerdes (Christine). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Schott Funeral Homes (505 N Clark St, Forest City, IA 50436). A memorial service was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 at 6:00 PM at the Schott Funeral Home (505 N Clark St, Forest City, IA 50436).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Gary Gerdes Memorial Fund in care of the family.
