With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gene M. Gentz of Forest City, Iowa, who passed away on June 22, 2025 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Schott Funeral Home (505 N Clark St, Forest City, IA 50436). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Schott Funeral Homes-Forest City Chapel (505 N Clark St, Forest City, IA 50436).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Gene Gentz memorial fund in care of the family.
