She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Monson and Mary Monson; her husband Forrest "Forrie" Buffington; her brother John Monson; and her parents-in-law, Orval and Gertie Buffington.
She is survived by: her children, Ellen Bruns (Eric) of Britt and Andrew (Keila) of Forest City; her granddaughter Elizabeth Almond (CJ); her great grandchildren, James and Archer; her granddaughter Ahnalise Eekhoff (Jonathon); her great grandchildren, Lucille, Calan and Tyler; her granddaughter Madeline Adamson (Joseph); her great grandchildren, Gabriel and Ruth; her granddaughter Isabel Buffington; her children, Samuel, Nora of Kuschnaut, Switzerland and Fernanda Corral of Santiago, Chile.; and her sister Jean Baker. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, sisters- and brothers- in law, and many cherished friends.
