He was predeceased by : his parents, Wallace Leonard Torkelson and Ida Amanda Oppedahl; his siblings, Don Torkelson and Darlene Tweeten; his brothers-in-law, Wally Tweeten and Leonard Nelson; and his brother Leroy.
He is survived by : his siblings, Florence Nelson of Lake Mills, IA, Beverly Erickson (Norm) of Seeley Lake, MT and Richard Torkelson of Forest City, IA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
