He is survived by: his son Bret William (Cassidi) of Jacksonville, Florida; his wife Kim Forester of Forest City, Iowa; his daughter Alyssa Burnett (Robbie) of Des Moines, Iowa; his grandchildren, Maria, Evelyn Ennen, Claire and Theodore Burnett; and his siblings, Tom Ennen (Erika) of Tucson, Arizona, David Ennen (Deanna) of Forest City, Iowa, Kathy Dierks (Gary) of Mankato, Valerie Nelson (John) of Eugene, Joice Forster (Craig) of Fairmont and Jacque Wiese (Terry) of La Grange. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Schott Funeral Home (505 N Clark St, Forest City, IA 50436). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Immanuel Lutheran Church (246 S Clark St, Forest City, IA 50436).
