He is survived by: his children, Fred Nelson (Beth) of Lake Mills, Bruce Nelson (Linda) of Forest City and Gail McCarthy (Gary) of Forest City; his grandchildren, Jill Budach (Brian), Rob Nelson (Nicole), Ryan McCarthy (Ellie), Laura Thorson (Tyler), Kristen Sankey (Colton) and Sarah Nelson (Taylor); his great grandchildren, Makenzie, Kalli Budach, Haylie, Brayden, Hannah Nelson, Keegan and Kennady Sankey; and his sister Iris Koons of Swea City, IA. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended relatives and friends.
