He was predeceased by: his parent Frances Brackey; and his siblings, Bernice Palmer, Elaine Sevley, Roger Brackey, Janice Winklbauer and Ferne Jones.
He is survived by: his children, Angela Froistad (Eric), Norman Brackey (Kirsten) of Mason City and Tyler Brackey of Glens Falls, NY; and his brother Leroy Brackey of Lake Mills. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
