He was predeceased by: his father Raymond Schmidt. He is survived by: his mother Virginia Schmidt (Moen) of Forest City; his brothers, James and Dan of Alachua, FL; his siblings' children, Holli, Lauren, Dustin and Daniel; his great-niece Avery; his great-nephews, Lewis and Logan; and his close friends, Sherri and Bruce Abbey.
