He was predeceased by: his brother Brandon Kleve; his brother-in-law Peter J Kriener; his mother-in-law Robyn Schmitt; his grandmother-in-law Kenneth Kolaas; his grandparents, Mike, Margaret Phillips (Fischer), Eugene and Margaret Kleve (Schlichte); and his close friend Dion Hegseth.
He is survived by: his parents, Kerry L. Kleve and Marjie Kleve (Phillips) of Waucoma, IA; his children, Kaislee Robyn and Kael Brandon of Fort Atkinson, IA.; his wife Kara (Hageman); his siblings, Bryan Kleve (Angie) of Waucoma, IA and Kinsli Schott (Tyler) of Elgin, IA; his father-in-law Neil Hageman (Patty Nelson) of Fort Atkinson, IA; his sister-in-law Kaiya Kriener of Fort Atkinson, IA; his siblings' children, Owen Schott, Karter Kriener, Sophia Hoey (Nolan) and Sara Adams; and his grandfather-in-law Christine Kolaas of Calmar, IA. He is also survived by numerous Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Waucoma Event Center (308 Riverview Dr, Waucoma, IA 52171). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
