With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Aileen Sandell (Fort Dodge, Iowa), born in Des Moines, Iowa, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Aileen left this world on July 25, 2025 at the age of 87, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roena Peterson and Don Peterson; her husband Thomas Sandell; and her grandson Jacob Mulder. She is survived by: her daughter Ann Mulder (Tom) of Temecula, CA.; her grandchildren, Stephen Mulder, Tom, Lucy, Clara Sandell, Will and Miles Sandell; and her siblings, Kathleen Nelson of Boca Raton, FL, Rick Peterson (JoAn) of Polk City, IA and Bill Peterson of Iowa City, IA. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
