He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Reinaldo and Pauline Conkling; his brothers, Douglas and Craig; and his daughter Robin.
He is survived by: his wife Pamela Jo of Madrid; his daughter Stacy Conkling of Kansas City, MO; his grandchildren, Tyra Schmid (Katie) of Aurora, CO, Ethan Wooster (Sami) of Ankeny, Christian Cassell of Blacksburg, VA and Joshua Cassell of Overland Park, KS; and his great grandchild Anastasia Wooster. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Gunderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services (615 N 15th St, Fort Dodge, IA 50501). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
