She was predeceased by: her parents, Roger Messerly and Beverly Messerly (Schnurr); her daughter Abbie Hankel; and her siblings, Leslie Turner and Roger A. Messerly.
She is survived by: her husband Dave Hankel of Fort Dodge; her son Justin Hankel (Rhiannon) of Fort Dodge; and her siblings, Curt Messerly (Sara) of Fort Dodge and Paula Gibson (Bill) of Fort Dodge.
