She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Smith and Frieda Smith (Bischoff); her husband L. Jay Smith; her daughter Pamela Nesbit; and her sister Dorothy Vorhees.
She is survived by: her sons, Brad Smith (Debbie) of Carrollton, TX and Scott Smith (MaryAnn) of Eagle Grove. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Gunderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services (615 N 15th St, Fort Dodge, IA 50501). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church (2501 6th Ave N, Fort Dodge, IA 50501).
