With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Betty Lind of Fort Dodge, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 31, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilford Messerly and Elizabeth Messerly (Richard); and her siblings, Richard, Harold, Jerry, Larry Messerly and Janet Pederson.
She is survived by: her children, Dan Lind (Kelly) of Fort Dodge, Barb Lind of Fort Dodge and Beth Lind of Fort Dodge; her grandchildren, Dr. Nicholas (Miriam), Nathan (Cassie), Jenni (David), Abbigael (Noah), Austin, Graesyn, Kenneth, Christopher (Destiny), Taytum, Parker, Addison and Lyrik; her great grandchildren, Georgia, Harvey, Ingrid, Hadley, Hudson, Annie, James, Olyvia, Traycen, Sawyer, Ellie and Willow; and her husband Richard Lind.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Laufersweiler Funeral Home & Cremation Services (307 S 12th St, Fort Dodge, IA 50501).
