She was predeceased by: her parents, Syne Sybesma and Alydia Sybesma; her parents-in-law, Jean and Willie Schmidt; her brother-in-law Terryl Todd; and her grandson Logan Schmidt.
She is survived by: her husband Gary Schmidt; her children, Alan Schmidt (Christina), Cindy Kelly and Sara Tempel (Mike); and her grandchildren, Jefferey Kelly, Brandon Kelly, Bailey Baker (Evan), Phoenix Tempel, Hunter Schmidt of Emilia Schmidt, L. J and Stacy. She is also survived by 8 great grandchildren; 1 great-great granddaughter; and 6 brothers and sisters.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (28 N 10th St, Fort Dodge, IA 50501).
