He is survived by: his wife Gayle Knieriem; his sons, Aaron and David Swanson; his grandsons, Braxton Swanson, Christopher Remington and Hunter Swanson; his siblings, Cathie Vinson, Bobbie Hardgrove and Lance; and his sister-in-law Dee Tinken. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
