With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Derek Stalkfleet of Fort Dodge, Iowa, born in Iowa City, Iowa, who passed away on January 6, 2023 at the age of 34. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his parents, Michael Stalkfleet and Tonya Stauffer (McDaniel); his wife Emily Stalkfleet of Preston, IA; his children, Alexis Stalkfleet, Nevaeh Stalkfleet and Derek Stalkfleet Jr.; his brothers, Jeffery Wurr and Troy Stauffer; his grandparents, Erika Stalkfleet and Melvin Stalkfleet; his parents-in-law, Jose Enriquez and Sylvia Swearinger; his brothers-in-law, Martin Cerda and Joshua Flores; and his nieces and nephews, McKayla Pace-Wurr, Madison Pace-Wurr, Alex Pace-Wurr, Austin Pace-Wurr, Rayce Stauffer and Raiden Stauffer.
