It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Diane Lee Strayer of Fort Dodge, Iowa, born in Lone Rock, Iowa, who passed away on September 29, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Larry Strayer; her siblings, Sharon Mayhan, Janette Smith and Darrell Wichtendahl; and her parents, Edwin Wichtendahl and Viola Wichtendahl (Bell).
She is survived by: her children, Carla Jo Sotzen (Jeff) of Plano and Todd Strayer (Sherri) of Fishers, Indiana; her grandsons, Cole Sotzen of Plano and Cody Sotzen of Plano; her great grandchildren, Landyn and Beckham; and her siblings, Joan Peterson, Maryls Trice, Jane Link and Terry Wichtendahl. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
