He was predeceased by: his parents, Willaus Cassady and Thelma Cassady (Jackson); his brother Lawrence Cassady; and his son-in-law Greg Horan. He is survived by: his wife Elaine Pollert; his children, Laura Horan of Sioux City, IA, Carol McNeil (Kirk) of Marion, IA, Doug Cassady (Jennifer) of Otsego, MN and Gail Martin (Randy) of Platte City, MO; and his sisters, Louise Sunderman of Villisca, IA and Mary Ann Melvin of Dana Point, CA. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
