He is survived by : his mother Geraldine Crimmins; his son Shawn Crimmins (Kelli Crimmins); his former life partner Cheri Cerwick; his son Jason (Nicole); his grandchildren, Kalen, Kyler and Chloe; and his siblings, Cindy McColley (Mike), Shirl Smith (Greg), Pat Day (Dave), Tom Crimmins, Bob Roest, Jane Graybill (Mark) and John Crimmins. He is also survived by father, and grandfather.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holy Trinity Church (2501 6th Ave N, Fort Dodge, IA 50501). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
