Faye A. Hansen Obituary
We announce the death of Faye A. Hansen of Fort Dodge, Iowa, who passed away on September 19, 2026, at the age of 88. Faye will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Faye will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Faye will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture her life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Faye’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Otto Riley and Faye Riley; her husband Mel Hansen; her daughter Dawn Hansen (Franker); and her grandson Reginald Hansen.
She is survived by: her children, Rusty Hansen (Tatyana), Robby Franker (Debbie), Reggy Hansen (Tonya), Debby Pruismann (Dan) and Heidi Hansen. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren, along with two siblings and their spouses.
A memorial gathering was held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM at the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church (1023 S 27th St, Fort Dodge, IA 50501).
