In loving memory of Florence Strain of Fort Dodge, Iowa, who departed this world on December 10, 2025 at the age of 91. Florence leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. In the vast expanse of eternity, Florence shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Florence farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fabian Strain and Nellie Strain (Meyers); and her siblings, Barbara Main, Mary Monahan, Joann Marnach and Robert Strain.
She is survived by: her sisters, Paulette Monahan (Paul) of Fort Dodge and Frances Gochenour Fort (Ray). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Laufersweiler Funeral Home (307 S 12th St, Fort Dodge, IA 50501). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
