He was predeceased by: his wife Sheila Bowers; his parents, Raymond Hall and Roberta Hall (Schumann); his granddaughter Catherine Nemmers; and his sister-in-law Vicki Hall.
He is survived by: his daughters, Denise Moore (Ryan) of Gowrie and Darci Nemmers (Jeff) of Fort Dodge; his grandchildren, Breann Moore (Tyler Price), Blair Wynes (Damon), Baylee Moore (Blake Richmond), Jeff Nemmers Jr. (Charity), Trey Thiele (Kaylin), Madeleine McLarty (Elliot) and John Nemmers; and his siblings, Mike Hall of Cedar Rapids, Shelly Berger (Bill) of Jefferson, Richard (Pamela Goodrich) and George (Paula Henry). He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren.
