He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Clinton and Geraldine Rosamont Wingerson (Keller); his wife Marilyn Wingerson (Nelson); his son Tim Wingerson; and his siblings, Everet Gary, Richard Wingerson, Robert Wingerson, Lois Telfer, Phyllis Hannon and Dena Stangl.
He is survived by: his children, Tammy Coiner (Bob), Terry Wingerson (Barb) and Tracy Wingerson; and his grandchildren, Jenny Brenner (Paul), Nathan Hedland (Ceasura), Sarah Haakenstad (Carl), Amy Coleman (KC), Samantha Grady (Chris), Tyler Wingerson (Becca), Baylie Wingerson, Carter Wingerson, Cody Lowe and Cayla Smith (Seth). He is also survived by his fifteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Gunderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services (615 N 15th St, Fort Dodge, IA 50501). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Saint Olaf Lutheran Church (239 N 11th St, Fort Dodge, IA 50501). A graveside service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 12:45 PM to 1:15 PM at the Union Cemetery - Humboldt 16th.
