She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Hepperle and Edith Hepperle (Lish); her son Matthew Surles; her sister Helen Kruse; and her niece Becky Fye.
She is survived by: her daughters, Theresa Doster (Dave) of Moorland and Andrea Surles of Fort Dodge; and her grandchildren, Matthew Surles-Davis, Tristin Doster and Ellie Doster.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Laufersweiler Funeral Home (307 S 12th St, Fort Dodge, IA 50501). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Trinity United Methodist Church (838 N 25th St, Fort Dodge, IA 50501).
