He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Gill and Viola Gill (Weideman). He is survived by: his wife Susan Rumbaugh; his daughters, Alicia Gill, Angela Gill and Amanda Blanchard; his stepson Jonathan Hill; his grandchildren, Azalya Hill and Tucker Gill; and his siblings, John Gill (Julie), Jerilee Mace (TJ Johnsrud) and Jeanne Thill (Jon).
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Fort Dodge Noon Lions Club. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Gunderson Funeral Chapel (615 N 15th St, Fort Dodge, IA 50501). A vigil service will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church (2501 6th Ave N, Fort Dodge, IA 50501).
