We bid farewell to Jim Bocken of Fort Dodge, Iowa, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 3, 2025 at the age of 78. Jim touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Don Bocken and Monica "Ducky" Bocken; his sister Maryann Bitner (Bocken); and his granddaughter Sydney Katherine Bocken. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Ackerman; his children, Greg Bocken (Amy) of Fort Dodge, Brian Bocken (Susie) of Des Moines and Sarah Duethman (David) of Kansas City; his brother Bob Bocken; his grandchildren, Matthew Bocken (Julia), Patrick Bocken, Connor Bocken, Sam Bocken, Max Bocken, Ben Bocken, Charlie Duethman and Abbie Duethman; and his great grandchild Graham Bocken. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be left to St. Edmond Catholic Schools, The Association of Frontotemporal Degeneration, or to the discretion of the family.
