We announce the death of Jonathan Ray Long of Fort Dodge, Iowa, who passed away on June 8, 2026, at the age of 58. Jonathan will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jackie Ray and Sheila Elaine Long (Horton); his siblings, Thomas Long and Charles Long; and his uncle Gary Long.

He is survived by: his children, Amanda Sandvick (Jake) of Shell Rock, IA and Brandon Long (Caitlyn) of Emmetsburg, IA; and his siblings, Chris Lennon (Britt) of Fort Dodge, David Long (Billie) of Moorland, IA, Daniel Long of Clarion, IA, James Long of Clare, IA and Michael Long (Tiffanie Long) of Lamont, IA.. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren.
