Kathleen Kregel Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on June 9, 2024, at the age of 86, Kathleen Kregel of Fort Dodge, Iowa, born in Jefferson, Iowa passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Kathleen Kregel to pay them a last tribute.

As we bid Kathleen farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Kathleen is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas; and her parents, Francis Cudahy and Margaret Cudahy (Minnihan). She is survived by: her daughter Kaleen Mikulski (Matt) of Eagan, MN; her granddaughter Meg Mikulski (Aidan Young) of Minneapolis, MN; and her siblings, Mary Daniel (Robert) of Chambersburg, PA and Dr. Terence Cudahy (Kristin) of Indianapolis, IN. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

She was a dedicated volunteer for the Fort Dodge Public Library serving as the President of the Library Board, the W.H. Johnston Foundation (today the Fort Dodge Public Library Foundation) and Friends of the Library.
