She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Ernest and Vivian Faye Gibson (Berringer); her siblings, Ron Gibson and Joyce Criswell; and her stepson Patrick Baldus.

She is survived by: her sons, Phillip Howard Swift of New Sharon, IA and Stephen Edward Baldus (Charla Kerns) of Tulsa, OK; her stepdaughter Stephanie Disbrowe of Kanehoe Bay, HI; her grandchildren, Jade Swift, Brooklyn Baldus and Anna Baldus; her great grandchildren, Kira, Zoey, Vivian and Evelyn; her nieces and nephews, Jeffrey Armstrong, Kasey Armstrong, Karlie Bond and Kristen Thompson; and her friends, Glennis Carpenter Nagel of Kearney, NE and Ruth Ann Darnauer Oystol of Des Moines, IA.. She is also survived by numerous cousins; and her lifelong best friends.
