He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Samuelson and Gerda Samuelson (Dahlene); his wife Eileen Carlson; and his son-in-law Greg Seubert. He is survived by: his children, Lisa Samuelson of West Des Moines, IA, Lori Seubert of Norwalk, IA and Eric Samuelson (Lisa) of Fort Dodge, IA; his grandchildren, Brittnee Harris (Justin) of Fort Dodge, Nick Samuelson (Ariel) of Fort Dodge, Robert Seubert (Kendra) of Norwalk and Jennifer Seubert of Norwalk, Iowa; and his brother Phillip Samuelson of Johnston, IA. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Gunderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services (615 N 15th St, Fort Dodge, IA 50501). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Celebration Center, Friendship Haven (420 Kenyon Rd, Fort Dodge, IA 50501).
