It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lola Wittmeier of Fort Dodge, Iowa, born in Woden, Iowa, who passed away on June 16, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Wood and Ethel Wood; and her husband Gary Wittmeier. She is survived by: her children, Lori Owen (John) of Fort Dodge, Debra Vaccari of Fort Dodge and Kevin Wittmeier (Susan) of Wentworth, SD; her grandchildren, Cole, Afton Wittmeier, Andrew Owen (Crystal) and Bella Vaccari; her stepgrandchildren, Michael Owen and Mary Anne Anderson; her siblings, LaDonna Gigler (Donald), Linda DeWaard (Kenneth) and Larry; and her siblings-in-law, Hazel Wood, Sharol Hefti, Loren Wittmeier (Lynn) and Jon (Julie). She is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren.
