He was predeceased by: his parents, Ron Messerly and Joan Messerly; his wife Linda Messerly; and his nephew Jamie Ryan Lennon. He is survived by: his sisters, Laura Richman (Jim) and Julie Shoopman (Mike); his children, Chad Messerly (Kayla) and Cortney Allbee (Alan); his grandchildren, Joselyn McLennan (Ivan), Maggie Messerly, Madison Zweifel (Blake) and Mason Allbee; and his great grandchild Jayden McLennan. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 12:00 PM at the North Lawn Cemetery (2201 N 15th St, Fort Dodge, IA 50501).
