The passing of Paul Ludwig of Fort Dodge, Iowa, born in Langdon, North Dakota leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on May 4, 2026 at the age of 78. He was predeceased by: his sister Jeanette; his parents, Allen and Francis; his parents-in-law, Evelyn Charbonneau and Donald Charbonneau; and his close friend Stanford Griffith.
He is survived by: his significant other Barb Cory; his children, Theresa Lursen (Steve), Don Ludwig (Stacey Dodge) of Fort Dodge and Erika Ludwig of Minnesota; his grandchildren, Isaac, Aaron, Anna, Taishonna, Alexis Miller, Temperence Dodge and Mila Dodge; and his siblings, Karen, Joni, Myles, Brad and John. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Edmond Athletics to establish the Paul Ludwig Character & Sportsmanship Scholarship (please designate the donation for the scholarship when you give).
