He was predeceased by: his parents, Bob Baker and Betty Baker; his brother Michael Baker; and his siblings-in-law, Bill Winkler and Jeanette Holstein.
He is survived by: his wife Cindy Baker (Winkler) of Fort Dodge; his sons, Shawn Baker (Melissa) of Urbandale, IA, Chris Baker (Adrienne Peters) of Fort Dodge, Mike Mericle (Jessica) of Humboldt, IA and Scott Mericle of Fort Dodge; his sister Sherry Wilson (Lefty); and his stepmother Mary Baker. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren.
