She was predeceased by: her parents, John Vernell Hardgrove (Ned) and Ada Schwietert Hardgrove; her husband Richard; her daughters, Cindy and Kathy; and her siblings, Barb, Kay, Peggy, Ronald and Jack.
She is survived by: her children, David Tappe (Judee) of Fort Dodge, Chris Tappe (Stephanie) of Boise, ID, Sarah Dziekonski (Lincoln) of Helena, MT and Stephen Tappe (April) of Sioux Falls, SD. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A rosary will be held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 from 4:30 PM to 4:45 PM at the Calendar Laufersweiler Funeral Home (307 S 12th St, Fort Dodge, IA 50501). Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A vigil service will be held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Calendar Holy Trinity Church (2501 6th Ave N, Fort Dodge, IA 50501).
