He was loved and cherished by many people including: his siblings, Michelle Hefley (Allen) of Riverside, MO and Steve Heathman of Fort Dodge; his nieces and nephews, Mark Hefley (Jenna) of Lincoln, NE, Matt Hefley of Kansas City, MO, Mickey Hefley of Omaha, NE, Megan Hefley of Papillion, NE and Shandel Heathman of Fort Dodge; his parents, Loren Heathman and Elaine Heathman (Peters); his grandparents, Bernie and Helen Peters; and his nephew Ryan Heathman.
In an effort to recognize Rick's volunteered time and monetary offerings, the family kindly requests memorial donations be made to Almost Home Humane Society of North Central Iowa in Rick's name.
