He is survived by: his wife Joy Awe (Qualls) of Fort Dodge; his daughter Kelly Short (Lonnie) of Bode, IA; his stepchildren, Bethany Marie Shrewsbury-Olivas (Gus) of El Paso, TX, Heidi Michelle Michelson (John) of Canby, OR, Joyce Juleen "Julie" Shrewsbury of El Paso, Richard Coleman (Michelle) of Fenton, IA, Robert Coleman of Iowa City, IA and Gina Myers (Dave) of New Prague, MN; his siblings, Dennis Awe (Linda) of Algona, IA and Janice Harmon of Armstrong, IA; and his sister-in-law Robin Doyle of Fort Dodge. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren.
