He is survived by : his wife Karen Weiland (Kahler); his parents, Garret Weiland and Leola Weiland (Uhlenhopp); his sister Cynthia Weiland Salvatore; his brother-in-law Antonio Salvatore; his nephew Matt Salvatore (Katie); his niece Jessica Salvatore Parker (Cooper); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Raleigh and Jovie; and also Lane.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 8th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Celebration Center at Friendship Haven (420 Kenyon Rd, Fort Dodge, IA 50501). A prayer will be held on Wednesday, May 8th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
