William Cote Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Cote of Fort Dodge, Iowa, who passed away on July 28, 2025, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint William leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Cote and Bonnie Cote (Halmas); and his sister Mary Bourne. He is survived by: his siblings, Sharon Eckerman (Terry), Kim Cote of Fort Dodge and Julie Becker of Fort Dodge. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Laufersweiler Funeral Home (307 S 12th St, Fort Dodge, IA 50501). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
