With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Arletta Muerhoff of Fort Madison, Iowa, born in Keokuk, Iowa, who passed away on June 8, 2023 at the age of 88. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Arletta Muerhoff to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Knipe and Golda Knipe (Mapes); her husband Art Muerhoff; her son John Muerhoff; and her siblings, Goldie Knipe, Lester Knipe and Richard Knipe.
She is survived by: her daughter Deb Worden of Arvada; her daughter-in-law Tammy Muerhoff of Moline, IL; her grandchildren, Amanda Worden and Johnny Muerhoff; and her brothers, Robert Knipe (Linda) and LaVerne Knipe (Sue). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of a memorial, Ruth's family has requested that remembrances be made in the form of contributions to organizations which support children in need of supportive services and/or children in need of extra support as Ruth always ensured that children who were most in need of clothing and books were provided with those items.
