She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Hoenig and Mary Hoenig (Ort); her husband George Brown; her daughter Amy; and her siblings, Jane Siefers and Warren Hoenig.
She is survived by: her children, Cathy Garrels (Greg) of Burlington and Marty Wenke (Tracie) of Argyle, Iowa; her siblings, Judy Sugars (Harley) of Denmark, Iowa, Roger Hoenig (Laura) of Fort Madison, Harry Hoenig (Linda) of Fort Madison, Karen Hoenig of Farmington, Iowa and Sherri Hartson (Clarence) of Fort Madison; her sister-in-law Becky Hoenig; her grandchildren, Darian Auge, Hallie Garrels (Billie), Reagan Garrels, Cody Wenke (Jess), John Henry Wenke, Thomas Wenke and Kyler Wenke; her great grandchildren, Mattie, Maleah, Marshall, Mallory and Everleigh; and her pet Ginger. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
