He is survived by: his wife Kathy Higgins; his children, Jason McPherson (Stacy) of New London, Dustin McPherson of Fort Madison, Dakota McPherson (Tabby) of Fort Madison, Iowa, Tonya Cam (Phay) of Mount Pleasant, Melanie Phillips of Galesburg and Heather Hunter of Fort Madison, Iowa; his stepchildren, Taitha Kemper of Fort Madison and Allen Penrod of Fort Madison, Iowa; his siblings, Randy McPherson (Patty) of West Burlington, Jan McPherson (Amy) of Mediapolis, Tina Henry of Burlington and Roger McPherson of Tempe; and his stepsiblings, Wynn McPherson (Stacy) of Cedar Rapids and Tracey McPherson of Iowa. He is also survived by twenty-four grandchildren; several great grandchildren.
