He was predeceased by: his father Marvin Dains; his sister Vicki Vermazen; and his significant other Karrie Keester. He is survived by: his mother Donna Robertson Dains of Ft. Madison; his daughter Faith; his siblings, Janet Hissem (Keating) of Montrose, Linda Hewett (John) of Ft. Madison and Ron Dains (Susan) of Millbrook, AL; and his brother-in-law Jim Vermazen of Montrose. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
